A change in lifestyle.

Healthier. More productive. Efficient.

Those are just three words that I aim to focus on this year. I plan to change my lifestyle. I am honest enough to admit that I am lazy when it comes to exercising. I just love to sit somewhere and gaze at nothing. It is one of my fool-proof ways of de-stressing.

But I realized just how efficient it is to de-stress by walking. Two purposes in one activity. De-stressing and exercising! A co-worker has been encouraging everyone in the office to participate in a fitness program he’s been designing for the whole team. I am wary of joining such activities because as I’ve mentioned, I am lazy with anything fitness-related. Can you imagine me with hiking sticks? Also, my commitment to anything that will require so much energy from me that will not give me monetary in return. TMI? It’s the truth! I was once a breadwinner so I made sure that my activities outside of work would yield me a side income. Of course, I know that a healthy body will actually save me a lot of money so I am considering the offer of a fitness activity at work.

I plan to be more productive this year and I am talking about my writing life. I am a published novelist. I write romance novels and I have three published novels in my name and two more waiting to be published. The past couple of months yielded zero results, writing-wise. I am searching for an inspiration, seeking words and even physical items like an industrial chandelier lighting to inspire me to complete a novel again. Hopefully, I can finish this one I am currently working on.

It’s not easy juggling so many things in a single day. My intent of an efficient working hours is a serious undertaking because I want to be able to accomplish so much this year.

A change of lifestyle is definitely in order!
